Welcome to Apitomy
We’re excited to introduce Apitomy – a new open source brand for tools built around API and Schema specifications.
Apitomy is born from the Apicurio community. As Apicurio Registry moves to the CNCF, the remaining projects are continuing under the Apitomy banner with the same mission: making it easier to work with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI specifications.
What’s included
Apitomy currently includes the following projects:
- Data Models – A Java and TypeScript library for reading, writing, and manipulating OpenAPI and AsyncAPI documents using a rich, typed object model. Available on both Maven Central and npm.
- Data Models MCP – An MCP server that exposes the Data Models library to AI coding assistants, enabling AI-powered OpenAPI and AsyncAPI document editing directly from tools like Claude Code.
- Codegen – Generate client SDKs, server stubs, and other code artifacts from OpenAPI specifications. Supports multiple languages and frameworks.
- OpenAPI Editor – A reusable React component for visual OpenAPI editing. Provides an intuitive interface for creating and editing OpenAPI documents without writing YAML or JSON directly.
- Apicurito – A lightweight, standalone OpenAPI editor application. Design and edit OpenAPI specifications with a clean, browser-based visual interface.
